Usually we play Berkshire in the fall as part of the playoffs, but due to some course scheduling conflicts, we got out there this year in the middle of the summer. Jeff shoots a 80-8=72 to capture his second win of the year and moves into a tie for most all-time Weekenders victories with his partner Carlos Triana and former member Dennis Enright.
Jeff captured his 13th career victory with a clutch birdie putt on 18 from about 20 feet out. Frank on the other hand, hit his tee shot out of bounds on 18. The errant tee shot resulted in a double bogey six, putting him in a tie 79-7=72 with Jeff. As per the tiebreaker rules, 50% handicap on the back nine, Jeff beats Frank by one stroke on the back.
Jeff reduces the player pool for the end of year Player's Championship by one. Good shooting Jeff, Congratulations!
