Sunday at Flanders gave us the best weather yet—some clouds, a brief shower, but it was not cold and windy.
And what a finish. Carlos Triana and Chris Kumia matched net 71s, sending us into rare tiebreak territory. The first tiebreak? Still tied. The second—final six holes with one-third handicap—Carlos takes it by just four-tenths of a stroke. That’s as tight as it gets.
Carlos’ 14th win is not just a milestone—it’s a record. He now sits alone atop the Weekenders leaderboard, passing the legendary Dennis Enright’s who retired from the club in 2023.
Don't feel too bad for Chris; he grabbed two more closest to the pins this week, so it was still a good day.
Congrats to Carlos on his victor, he earns a spot with our other winners at the end of year Player's Championship.
